Susan, your words are beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing!
5 minutes isn't long enough to even begin to adequately give thanks to God...
Appreciated your list here today! I'm giving thanks right along with you.
Hi Susan,
Amen, I thank God all the time for His forgiveness through Christ Jesus. Great post and God bless,
Ken
Joining you in giving thanks & praise to our Lord. There is just so much to be thankful.
Hi Susan,
Thank you for visiting my blog and telling me about a sermon on 1 Thess. 5:18 from your church. I went and listened to it and was much blessed. A few years back when I was grieving my first wife's death I kept asking God, "I know I am suppose to be thankful in all things, but how can I be thankful in this?" I came to a deeper understanding, yet never could fully wrap my head around it. Maybe I still don't fully wrap my head around it, but what your pastor spoke sure did bring a much deeper understanding. When he spoke about "if God gave us what we deserved," that sure did hit the nail right on the head. Even in this, things could be a whole lot worse. Actually I should have died 3 times before I was saved or had met my first wife. We both got saved after we were married.
Well anyway, I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated you sharing this with me.
God bless,
Ken
