Young & Restless

They call themselves Young, Restless & Reformed
Touting their Christian liberties

Seemingly more concerned about their freedom to indulge
Than stumbling a weaker brother

Distracted by the pleasures of this world
Which are passing away

Unconcerned about their influence on those
Who already feel the pull of a self-indulgent, godless culture

Focused on the here and now
Vs. the by and by

Whatever happened to
Be holy as I am holy

Whatever happened to
Be sanctified

Whatever happened to
Deny thyself, pick up your cross daily and follow Me

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. – Titus 2:11-14

Hi Janette, thanks for stopping by. I'm looking forward to getting wall words up. The scripture With God All Things Are Possible will go in our sun room area.

I agree with you that our young people are getting confused with some of the messages in the Christian community. That's why I'm so grateful for Pastors like MacArthur, Piper and Mahaney to name a few. I'm grateful for Pastor De Courcy who is also faithful to preach the word uncompromisingly.
