He
is the Beloved Son of God
Christ
Jesus
In
Whom the Father is well pleased
His
is my Beloved Savior
Who
laid His glory aside
In
order to become a man, my Kinsman
He
is my beloved Sin Bearer
He
paid the penalty for my sin
So
that my sin debt was marked paid in full
He
is my Beloved Redeemer
He
ransomed my soul
From
the slaved master called sin
He
is my Beloved in Whom I found freedom
Freedom
from the guilt of sin, the power of sin
One
day from the presence of sin
He
is my Beloved God
Who
dares to call this sinner His beloved bride
One
day He will take me home to a place He has prepared

Behold
what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called
children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because
it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are
children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know
that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies
himself, just as He is pure. 1 John 3:1-3

Thanks for doing this, Susan. I'm a late contributor this time, so I was glad to find I'm not the only one who does Friday's work on Saturday.
The verse at the top of your post is the one that came to mind for me when I read the word "beloved" as our prompt. Being loved by our Beloved makes all the difference, doesn't it? I enjoyed your reflections on that. I hope you'll get a chance to read my thoughts, too.
I am posting on Saturday as well! This was wonderful. Thank you for sharing.
Lovely. Thank you for sharing this with us.
To be the Father's beloved is at time hard to fully grasp all that really means. I always enjoy your 5 Minute Friday post Susan.
