Praise Him

Psalm 148

1  Praise the LORD!
    Praise the LORD from the heavens;
    Praise Him in the heights!
2  Praise Him, all His angels;
    Praise Him, all His hosts!
3  Praise Him, sun and moon;
    Praise Him, all you stars of light!
4  Praise Him, you heavens of heavens,
    And you waters above the heavens!

5  Let them praise the name of the LORD,
    For He commanded and they were created.
6  He also established them forever and ever;
    He made a decree which shall not pass away.

7  Praise the LORD from the earth,
    You great sea creatures and all the depths;
8  Fire and hail, snow and clouds;
    Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
9  Mountains and all hills;
    Fruitful trees and all cedars;
10 Beasts and all cattle;
    Creeping things and flying fowl;
11 Kings of the earth and all peoples;
    Princes and all judges of the earth;
12 Both young men and maidens;
   Old men and children.

13 Let them praise the name of the LORD,
    For His name alone is exalted;
    His glory is above the earth and heaven.
14 And He has exalted the horn of His people,
    The praise of all His saints—
    Of the children of Israel,
    A people near to Him.

Susan,
I just voted on your poll on the right hand side and this saddens me. One person believes that baptism makes you a Christian and one of the others believes that Jesus Christ was a good teacher/prophet. How far has our country fallen from our beliefs about Christ? We need more preachers preaching the exclusive, absolute truth about the King of kings and Lord of Lords, our precious Jesus. Not the preachers like the Joel Olsteen's and Rob Bells of the world, who only care about glorying in themselves rather than in God. It saddens me and it maddens me. We need those people to rise up to the occasion--- preaching Christ crucified ALONE.

In Christ,
Joshua :)

Amen Joshua! You keep standing strong for Jesus Christ...Son of God and Son of Man...our Savior, our Redeemer...our God! Praise His Holy Name!

Praise God for His Word that is truth that endures and sets us free.

I fear and tremble for those "pastors" who fail to teach the word of God. I fear for them that one day they will hear the words "Away from Me, I never knew you."

If they indeed do know Christ they will be grieved that they were not faithful with the gift of His Word that God entrusted them with.

These people are perishing...we must pray all the more for the days are short and speak the truth from God's word!
