Trusting In His Unfailing Love

Psalm 13:5 But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.

Today my beloved Pastor Chuck Obremski was not able to be at church...even though his desire and preparation was to be there. During the night...Chuck was taken to the hospital with a high fever and shaking.

This evenings Kindred Prayer Update brought news that the doctor's initial diagnosis is a blood infection and they've started Chuck on some strong antibiotics. It's unknown yet if Chuck will be able to start on a new course of chemo tomorrow as originally planned.

Your continued prayers for this beloved man of God and his lovely family are very much appreciated. We know our God is able to do abundantly more than all we ask or imagine...and pray that he will do just that.

God provided for the feeding of His word to His people...through His humble and willing servant, church Elder Dave Dunn. Dave did a follow up to his sermon from a couple of weeks ago with a message about Uncertainty.

An appropriate message given on the 4th anniversary of September 11th and following the overwhelming tragedy of Hurricane Katrina. And on a more personal note...the uncertainty with our own Pastor Chuck's health and not knowing what God has planned and what He will do.

While uncertain on what the immediate future holds, we are certain in what our eternal future holds. Because both Chuck and Linda have faced their difficulties with trust in God and not their outward circumstances...they have had the effect of helping solidify our congregation's faith in God...even when the circumstances seem quit dire and uncertain.

He is our Rock. He is our Salvation. He is our Hope.
In Him, will we trust.
